Oops! I wouldnt normally hang around like that without shields but I thought I could take him and wasnt expecting what happened next! The point where I slow down the clip was the point in game where I realised what was about to happen! I was bounty hunting to try get some better equipment ready to jump back into Durius and carry on my fighting. I laugh about it now, but boy did I rage immediately afterwards, over 100k in bounties lost :(

Unlucky dude - I hate it when that happens! 2% as well... so close to finishing him off.

My spacial awareness improved after getting my grubby little paws on a Rift DK2. Ahmaagaaaad is it GOOD - especially on a Cobra. Best cockpit so far for me was the eagle though... felt like a proper fighter :)

As I watched the video my jaw just hit the deck on the slow motion part, even then knowing I was watching a video I still wanted to give my computer verbal abuse.

All I can say is, gratz man for keeping your cool.

Haha thanks guys! It did suck, as far as I can see watching it back there was nothing I could have done :( 2-ing-%!!! Was my last kill before heading back to station too, just before this an NPC decided to "help me out" and last hit a 22k bounty so I was less than happy about that too, this threw me over the edge and i still havent been back on lol!

Thanks for the comment on my piloting I always thought I was sub-par ;) I tried with a stick but I wasnt as accurate in combat so stuck with the K+M for now.

I am wanting a rift DK2 but people have told me to wait until the consumer version, I think I will although it is tempting to just say -bleep- it and go all in now! And I loved my Eagle, I have to say I agree it's my fave cockpit so far, but I havent been in anything bigger than my cobra yet.

There's just something about NPC Python drivers, I don't think the release just how bloody wide those things are. I've been side swiped by several over the last few days, with similar results.

That sucks!

I've done some stupid stuff i.e. fastest docking time possible with boost, and completly hit another ship leaving the port and going boom.

Crashing into large ships during bounty combat and dying like yours, [though many of the times i hit system authority ships etc or friendlies and they turn on me and i have to leave the system/rejoin though it was by complete accident.

Except your rebuild cost is 20k, and though its a lot in the beginning my ship for my cobra is 200k >_> mostly Class B stuff, and some A stuff in there :p
