Were Commodities changed?

Did the system state change? Are there any political upheavals? - Lockdown, civil war etc? It does seem strange that the supply dried up immediately. Markets seem to change with the server maintenance every morning. If the market state is only updated once a day it may be possible that the all market activity impact of all other cmdrs was registered at once. How many visitors to the system in the past 24 hours?
The system has changed recently— Beta-1 Tucanae has been my standard daily grinding trade route since Christmas. While it is true that it has been in economic boom for some time, a day or two ago I logged back in to find new waypoints (seeking luxuries) all over the place.
Problem is of course that we don't know why such a change would cause a station to stop producing X or Y.
I have not checked the nearby systems, maybe they "moved" production as part of the expansion.

wait, the items you were buying there are now prohibited? Are you sure the station didn't change local factions to one that prohibits that stuff?
Yes, that's right.
I don't believe so. The station is currently run by Empire Consulate and I'm fairly certain that's who was running it before, but I can't be sure.
The only thing I can think of is the faction allegiance did change. Or the faction changed its mind and decided to make those things illegal. Just really strange it would happen without a faction change (or some GalNet story detailing something going on in that area...)
