We’re never getting Microceratus are we?

Sigh... it's not even that amazing a genus... we'd be better of with something more unique like Psittacosaurus or something less far less dubious like Graciliceratops... but people just have to be obsessed with anything vaguely canon, even if it was something they'd never consider otherwise...

Yeah it's "weird" to wonder how people who are playing a game BASED ON A FILM FRANCHISE would want content FROM THE FILMS included. And if it wasn't for the fact it's the ONLY film animal not in the game, nobody would really be batting an eye. Animals got in for less, like Mamenchisaurus which only has 12 seconds of screen time, still made it in the first game DAY ONE. Yet we're almost TWO YEARS out from Dominion's release and a YEAR AND A HALF from Dominion Malta Expansion, and the one animal from Dominion not in the game, is still not here.

And yes, I'd like Psittacosaurus too, among other herbivores like Plateosaurus and Leaellynasaura, but apparently, there's a Carnivore Bias going on. Have you noticed the last real strictly herbivorous animal we got was the Lystrosaurus a YEAR AND A HALF AGO? and the Last strictly herbivorous dinosaur was Alamosaurus before it? Every new dinosaur since Malta has been a Cretaceous Theropod? But I digress.

What I'm trying to say is, the Microceratus thing, it's stupid that this is even a thing. We shouldn't be asking for something based on a precident set by the games themselves (If it was in the films, it gets added to the game). And to go on for as long as it did is even more stupid. Like if it was only 6 Months that wouldn't be a big deal, but for almost 2 years? Seriously?

What do you think now that the Microceratus is in the game?

For the longest time I thought it would be close to size to the Homalocephale, but I was pleasantly surprised it was more compy sized.

I liked the unique cohabitation preference it has, where it really does not trust any dinosaur species more than ceratopsids and interestingly, Lystrosaurus, which I find cute for being two tiny beaked animals from different time periods.

I especially like how it could be best appreciated in first person mode, where you walk about and try to find them in the grass and bush. Once I have some in the park, larger dinosaurs like Spinosaurus and Brachiosaurus look titanic in comparison to the little guy.

I like It a lot, but its the size of JP variant ( around 60cm long ) but has the Design of the bigger JW variant ( 80 - 90cm long) as shown in the next picture.
The Question is , why did Frontier not use the Movie accurate size for the JWE II version ???
Skins are great, but i would have prefered if JWE II version would have the fitting size of the JW Version!
It would be much easier to show this beautiful skined tiny ceratopsian to the visitors ;) !

I think it is 80cm or close enough to that size.

The database writes it down as that long, and from the bestinslot video he made about the micro, he compared the Micro to the Compy. With the Compy being around 1 meter long, and she looks to be closer to the 80cm size than 60cm.

Our compys of JWE II are 70-80 cm, thats the size of the most famous subadult specimen from Solnhofen in Germany ( .... I live 50 km from this town ;)) ! ( This was the size of Lostworld Compys ;) ) .... Dinosaur-Books from 1980 - 2003 had most often listed 70cm for Compys !
1 - 1,3m length would be a correct size for an adult specimen of Compsognathus .

Just Let a few Microceratus roam free to walk between visitors and compare it to the picture of the original 1:1 moviemodell.
Our Micros are around 60cm and much smaller than that modell,...just look at its head compared to the hand and head of the Woman that holds it.
Its nothing wrong with a 60cm version, but if you look at the Moviescene where the little girl holds one Microceratus you can clearly see that it was a much bigger Microceratus.

All in all I would be happy if Frontier could pleeeeaaaase give all Dinosaurs their normal Sound when we house them in Avaries!!!! ( And Dinosaurs should be able to run through Tourgates !)
With a very usefull glitch its still possible to get every Dinosaur in the Aviaries and strangely the Aviari-viewinggaleries are much better to show small Species without to much ugly Steelrods etc. in the way.
The Flat 360 Viewinggallery has just to much useless Steelrods directly in eyesight-hight!
No modern Safaripark would use such a really bad Design. ( A version without this Steelcage for small species would be great to have.

Please Team of Frontier, just give us sound for Dinosaurs in Aviarys ! ..... That would be great ! ( ... ehhh and All small Carnivores from 70cm - 1.3m could get option to use the insectfeeder ;))
