Some 8500 ly "west" from Sol and things are the same and repeating, with absolutely no life.

A single phenonema was near the bubble, but later on, only geysers, spouts and fumaroles :rolleyes:
Yes, my Codex does signal I confirmed something every now and then after FSSing each system, but probing bodies with geo/bio never gave any other POI beside that, like structures etc. And I just can't force myself to probe all planets because... time.

Started using Elite Observatory app for PC, which nicely warns if something interesting is detected, but it's mostly Tidal locks, Jumponium mats, Nested moons, Fast orbits and other interesting things which I don't even notice any more.

I went on this journey to find life and structures, not geysers... and so far zero. Is like this in other parts of the galaxy as well?

Am midway into the Formidine Rift and it's pretty quiet here too. I'm still searching in hope of something exciting, but right now it's been a while since I've seen geological or biological signs on the FSS.

It's not about quitting, it's about worrying that I might be missing something in FSS/probing procedure which will make me miss a yet unknown Guardian structure or similar.

Edit: edsm.net, Galactic Mapping, Mystery POIs filter... There's none on my way and I'd like to discover one.

In most places i visited life is rare, but it is there. The notable exceptions is Dryman's Point sector. NSFs there are all over the place, in almost all systems with a at least one WW, AW, ELW or gas giants with life. Countless. Not sure what is so special about this sector.
On other hand, life forms a very low on my exploration priorities list, so it never bothered me they are rare. Keep searching, you will find some eventually.

Edit: if you are hoping to find structures or anything which is not space pumpkins or other xeno-life....dont count on that.

It is the region. Some are barren of NSPs and Bios, then as you cross into the next region it might be swarming with it. I'm currently in a 'dry' region but my previous had plenty, and I'm 38k from Sol. The codex can help you identify regions worth it if NSPs and Bios are your goal. The staler the 'reported' you might want to avoid.

The reason is quite simple. In most regions, lifeforms (and thus NSPs) are limited to spawning in relatively small areas, not all over the region. There are three exceptions to this: the Inner Orion Spur, Dryman's Point, Sagittarius-Carina Arm. (Plus a good chance of Tenebrae, but I haven't confirmed that yet.) In the IOS, albulum gourd molluscs (but not the others) can spawn anywhere in the region, and in DP plus SCA, several varieties of the peduncle trees and pods. The latter's requirements (F/G/K/M star and at least one planet bearing water-based life) are so common that anyone who explores those two regions will soon complain that they are drowning in NSPs.
For comparison, peduncle trees also exist in the Hawking's Gap and Temple regions, but are confined to the vicinity of one nebula each... and don't even register after being scanned.

So if I'm seeing this right, OP, you've crossed into the Elysian Shore? That region is notoriously low on lifeforms, so little wonder. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot in the way of NSPs discovered that way: the closest you might find with more impressive sights is the Prai Hypoo nebula in Temple. (The one with Guardian sites.)

But if you're looking for any new mysteries, I'm not aware of any clues that would point in this general direction.

Also, if you'd be looking for signals other than geo or bio, then they are listed under the Locations, not Features. Should you happen to find one, the text will be highlighted in a different colour.

Doggedly working my way through Formidine Rift, and it's no better than my times in Elysian Shore for bio's - but hey, I keep stumbling on the occasional ELW and some pretty good scenery. Perhaps next week I'll find that Guardian something.... which is the fun part of exploring. And if I don't find anything, it was because I missed that special system by only 5Ly but at least it's there for some other cmdr to find. Relax and mosey your way through the galaxy, everything will happen in its own good time.
