I've been glued to this as a follow up the the original film of 1973 just as I was for the sequal Futureworld. They had tried a series in the US soon after but it was a flop. This however is from HBO who created Game Of Thrones that I never watched as I found it filled with too much fantasy for my liking. I'm more into Sci-Fi so this was very exciting to see this come along.
Having greatly enjoyed the first few episodes I was disappointed from ep.4 as it went on too long with Delores and Williams stories but later I found out another writer completed eps. 3 & 4 as the main writers were still completing the end Series! I have continued watching regardless only later to discover there are many YouTubers making up Theories and Predictions based upon the many stories and twists it has due to it becoming as vastly complex storyline of many characters with some crossing over 2 or 3 timelines.
It stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Thander Newton and has scenes that are breath taking and shock in adult sex and violence purposely making you think why they are so like this. Which actually turns out to be the plot behind the whole theme park: giving hosts (robots) an ability to improvise upon their scripted loops and retain some memories of past encounters but also develop strong feelings from these extreme experiences: murder; victims; suicide; orgies with wives; and a will to run away from the park.
We see many stories are actually coming out into the hosts with similar goals as they become a step towards consciousness and it makes you wonder after 1 of the Techs is found out to be a Host just how many of them are...if not all of them! This is how it is so captivating and once you realise this you should watch them again as everything that is said has it's own importance and shows you the clues. Every little scene has so much more hidden from pictures to even expressions and odd behaviours.
The music is quite odd again on purpose as it has pop tunes played on honky tonk piano and the theme tunes also seem stark. It grows on you more and so and they use many variations of these in each. They even provide many hidden clues as to time frame of scenes and the nature of the current narrative storyline. This show is just fantastic. If you haven't seen it yet then do. It has another 2 episodes and they have planned Series 2 but may come in 2018.

My theories: -
William is the Man In Black (same ruffled shirt and same knife over 2 time lines 35yrs apart).
His mate Logan I think is the Minataur (did not die from being shot) i.e. we are seeing him get captured by him also 35yrs ago also.
Arnold (whom went "mad" and said to have died) had his memories placed into Wyatt and Teddy as they are both mass killers and Delores who can now also kill has the same memories so I think she killed Arnold as she was the first original Host.
Theresa was a Host as "there were many like her before" and she had a back story of being a kid sitting at the restaurant in the same chair where Ford was speaking to her.
Tech's Felix & Sylvester are Hosts as they are so dumb and they too show signs of limited reactions.
Ford says "he created all this even the blades of grass" and "the Hosts are not real" but is he a Host just as the M.I.B. suggested? He likes to talk to other Hosts in private and he has even created his own memory of his own backstory of his family.
If you watch Futureworld which was not as popular you will notice many similarities there where all the techs were in fact robots too!
What's left of the world outside of the park?
What's your theories?
