It will be a complete wipe so back to the basic sidewinder with whatever cash Frontier give you (throughout the beta it's been 1000 credits) but there are a variety of starting points depending on where you backed during the Kickstarter.

Don't get attached to anything in game (ships, money, etc.). It can all change at any moment until the final release comes out.

The current thinking, my son, bearing in mind everything is subject to change toot sweet, is that there will be resets between now and gamma but you will be able to take what you have in the lockup in gamma through to the final release.

You will have a reset between now and release - it'll come at the end of Beta (we're testing at the moment - any fun we have is purely incidental ). Once we're in Gamma (pre-general release but a complete version of the game for us early birds) FD don't anticipate having to wipe again for when ED goes gold - unless there has been some horrible, game-breaking Gamma bug(s).

My advice, don't bank on anything, but if you feel you really want to - save it for Gamma and hope nothing goes pear-shaped.

That's interesting.. any word as to the amount that was required to have a custom start point or were there tiers depending on whether you did and how much?
