So I decided I wanted to get a clipper... Have the cash for one plus 12 million in the bank but needed to reach baron rank.
I read Yakio's guide and few other posts on these forums about people reaching baron rank in a few days at max.. one guy said he did it in 8 hours.
So as I write this I have spent about 30 hours played time over the last week in empire space trying to get Naval rank up missions to pop. Following previous posts from people I went from Empire system to empire system raising my rank with individual minor empire factions (yes I checked my system's panel to confirm they are empire and not independent) of which I currently have a friendly rep with Major Faction Empire (rank:master) and allied rank with 3 minor empire factions and friendly with 4-5 others. I have not seen a naval rank up mission in the last 12 hours of played time. in that time i have completed over 20 reputation gain missions (no reward other than rep), and spent about 2 hours in one system bounty hunting.
First night doing this I got 2 Rank up missions to pop for me which was great.... didnt see another one till 2 nights ago... now nothing and im about over it. In the time it has taken to this point I could have been running trade routes and bought the python.
Is this bugged or what am i doing wrong?
