what am i missing here it cat be this tuff to find stuff

hi

I am at manabush they need mineral extractors so how do I find them. it tried to turn on trade routes for machinery but I cant seem to see those now for some reason. it cant be that tedious to look at all the systems to see what they export. what am I not getting here?

you could go to the commodities market in the system that wants them and find them in the list then look on the right and see what systems they import them from. Then go to one of those systems and buy them and bring them back.

So mineral extractors is machinery, and my guess is that means places with Industrial economy, all you have to do is go to the map, see which systems have industry and try there.

I looked on wiki and it said you buy then at Industrial. sorry I m not the sharpest tool in the tool shed...

how do you find an Industrial system ? go to the galaxy map go to system view on a system until you find a Industrial system. I have tried that hunt

how do I turn trade root lines? I watched a vid were you can tell by that. for some reason it no longer shows for me

Open the galaxy map

Select the View tab

Scroll down to trade, click the clear all button

Tick the Show trade routes button

Click the Arrow beside Machinery

Select Mineral Extractors

Then look around your known/explored galaxy map for colored trade routes of selected commodity.

As a rule industrial markets sell mineral extractors.

Make sure at the top of the trade routes menu you have the "show trade routes" box checked other wise it turns them all off.
