What are some of the craziest things you've seen in elite dangerous?

The heat mod engineering being completely broken. Toasting ships entirely, and even crazier was the fdev didn't fix it for months lol.

But the craziest player driven stuff I saw was the Hutton orbital CG blockades. Those were awesome.

This was in the early era of the game, but there was a pair of stars that were close together and when you were in one system, when you selected the other system it would direct you to jump into the star as if the star system was inside of another star like a Dyson's sphere.

Attacking a ground base in my SRV when another player in a Cutter comes wandering over to see what's happening. Flashes all around me as the base lasers all start up at once. Then seconds later the huge burned out Cutter hull smashes into the ground just inches in front of my SRV. Flinched so hard I almost fell backwards out of my chair.

Landed at a Guardian site to get module blueprints and my entire DBX clipped through the surface and landed inside the planet.
Naturally, I did what any sane and right thinking CMDR would do.
I deployed my SRV.
It immediately started falling into the void and I was able to look straight up and see my DBX grow smaller and smaller against the flat grey underside of the planets surface before the whole game crashed.
