Decided to make my first jaunt over to Jaques to try and fill up my last 8% of Ranger, so plot my first batch to a random system 962 LY from the bubble, and on that very last jump, I land In a system with an undiscovered earthlike!

On completely random system selection, it seems to be about 1 in 200 to 1 in 250 or thereabouts.

Yup, those are the chances.
Although since it was a specific system you picked, then if you cherry-pick the ones most likely to contain an Earth-like, then it's around 1 in 50 at best.
