What are the highest mountains you found so far?

Actually I wonder what has been found so far.

Since the earth got mountains of 8.000 m height and Mars with a gravity of 38% of Earth got a 26.000 m mountain, how is it, that every mountain I find on a planet with 40% gravity is just 200-300 m?

What have you found so far?

I'm 1/3 the way to the bottom and you can just make out my SRV

Smaller shot below has the coords and system/planet.

Plenty of mountains over 2km high.

Met these the other day and they are small compared to other ranges... 2.7km and I'm just under the peak!

The tallest mountain I've seen so far was about 9,000m high.
I was only able to assess its prominence because it was basically vertical on one side, so I could check its height immediately with my ship.
Unfortunately if mountains are part of a bigger, or wider range it becomes harder to asses their height due to the lack of a reference point (but on the other end they would not look as interesting).
Olympus Mons on Mars is very high, true, but its base is about 20x its height, so it looks more like a gentle slope than a massive mountain.

OK, found the pics. Never claimed that it was a nice looking one!

The height in the next shot is 8.58km, and the attitude indicator shows that the 0 is still below the peak.
In the end, the height was about 8.8km or so, but it really depends on the condition of the ground at the feet of the mountain.
