Hi, can someone tell me what these icons in the corner of the settlement name panels are on the system map? Looks like a planet silhouette or something, in a triangle?

They showed up when Horizons 4.0 was released, they indicate the settlement is on a body with thin atmosphere (only accessible to people playing in Odyssey).
Oh, so "Odyssey Settlements" (the blue menu) are also Horizons settlements? Confusing. Unless they're putting them all in one icon now. It had two before - blue for Odyssey bases, orange for Horizons bases.
Atmosphere doesn't affect anything. Horizons player cannot land at Odyssey settlement - for a simple reason, Odyssey settlements don't exist in Horizons.
They do in Horizons 4.0.
Horizons players can land at Odyssey settlements as long as there is no atmosphere. There will be no NPCs present but they can still use the station services and drive around.
Interesting. I haven't seen any of them in Horizons when playing with buddies, so I presumed there aren't any.. Good to know
I don’t have access to Horizons 4.0 and am too far out for settlements to check but are there ‘Odyssey’ settlements present on any airless planets?
Yes, that is the whole reason the new icons have been introduced - to differentiate between the ones on thin atmospheres vs. no atmospheres.
