General / Off-Topic What are you watching?

I started the Watchmen extended cut last weekend, but someone recommended the ultimate cut so I re-setted an hour and went with that instead. I'm mostly through it and enjoying it so far.

Anyway, what are you watching?

Although the *** scene was a little more graphic than I would've liked. Maybe it was that way in the theatrical release but I doubt it.

Finished both seasons of Mandalorian recently (great show!), and a friend told me it referenced the 'Clone Wars' animiation series lots, so have started watching that. about 3 seasons in. I can't believe this is a kids show! pretty good though.

Also, there an ultimate cut of watchmen?! read the comic and watched the theattical and extended cuts, do like that film. I think the film ending is better than the comic. my friend hates me for saying that though.

Falcon & Winter Soldier these days.
Gearing up to tackle that Snyder cut version... but who has 4 hours to spare?
It was a challenge. It took me two days. Better than the original so worth it in the end.

As far as I know, you're not missing anything if you've seen the extended cut. They just mix in an animated version of Tales of the Black Freighter.

And the less said about Disney Star Wars the better. Although I did enjoy watching season one of the Mandalorian. That was actually quite decent. Everything else, though, eesh..

Well I liked 300, and Watchmen, and Suckerpunch because steam powered undead Huns fighting vs Mecha is something we should all have in our lives.

So yep, definitely going to give his Justice League a go. (y)

I even liked 300: Rise of an Empire. Obviously that wasn't Zack Snyder but the style is very similar.

Although I rewatched Sucker Punch the other week and I realised why I'd only seen it once. Nice action and soundtrack but the story's weird and the lead character is very weak. Abbie Cornish (Sweet Pea?) was way better to watch as the momma bear alpha.

It's practically a set of music videos strung together.

New JL is what it should've been in the first place. If you thought Suckerpunch was about steamed powered undead fighting mecha you got the wrong film. If only it had been that film instead of the very depressing story we got.

I despise JJ Abrams with the fiery hot burning passion of a thousand suns but I loved the rebooted Star Trek characters before I realised that.

Kinda like if you have a child with a woman but realise it was the product of an affair two years later. You love the them now, so what's done is done.

And by the way, you'll probably never see a better movie depiction of interdiction outside of Star Trek: Into Darkness. The Enterprise got its butt kicked right out of warp.

I was a little worried that Godzilla may have got his butt kicked from the trailer but they're really kicking the tar out of each other here.

Godzilla is still the prettiest Kaiju. Fight me.

I shouldn't comment too much or obnoxiously quote myself. My apologies. If the thread starter can't follow proper spoiler etiquette, then who will?
