What bird will we get this year?

Throughout the previous DLC, we've gotten at least one bird every year, sometimes even two (2020 and 2022), but we haven't gotten one so far this year, whether we end up with flying birds or not, but then In the coming DLC I think we'll get at least one. Combined with the voting list, I think Kiwi is the most likely.
So, guys, what do you think it will be?

I also think the American flamingo is the most likely, although I wouldn't be surprised if we got a third penguin or the white stork.

I wish for something different from what we have but it is probably going to be something boring like the american flamingo or the rhea or another penguin. That doesn't mean i don't want them (actually the rhea is one of My most wanted animals) but i want a waterfowl of some kind (swan, duck), an unique new type of bird (spoonbill, ibis, pelican, stork, secretary, shoebill) or a flying one. Or at the very least more rep for galliformes instead of more ratites. I wouldn't mind another crane of it is either the grey crowned crane or the damoiselle crane that look very different from the red crowned one. Also the kiwi seems likely as well.

Why is everyone guessing Flamingo? Yeah I understand for the anniversary but we’ve gotten way cooler birds in the past. If it’s a children’s pack next we could see ducks or Rhea, and if we get a Mountain Animal Pack we could see a species of Pheasant.

I really do expect we'll see the Kiwi, probably Northern Brown, but I have much less actual hope for any others. The rest is all just a dream that I don't want to wake up from.

Rhea would be amazing with the blue eyed albino morph.

Agree, I dont even think the flamingo is that likely as the anniversary. The red deer got a complete new model and the flamingo would literally just be a change in color saturation, as much of a clone as you can get. So getting the flamingo as the anniversary animal would be a huge step backwards and pretty disapointing to me. grey crowned cran and white stork (based on the crane) or golden pheseant and himalayan monal (based on the peafowl) would be better option as an anniversary bird imo.

As for the actual topic of the thread: I feel like its pretty tough to say since all of the talked about DLC themes have multiple good options.

Temperate: White stork, ducks, swans, pheseants
Mountains: Rhea, himalayan monal
Children/petting zoo: Ducks, chicken
Islands: Kiwi, cuban flamingo,

On paper it should be the Greater Rhea, probably the most common (bar the Humboldt penguin which got a bit shafted by the African penguin) potential habitat bird remaining to be added.

I'd say kiwi feels likeliest, followed by greater rhea, and grey crowned crane in a very distant third.

I'm not sure if I'd expect another "simple" clone for the anniversary given how they spoiled us with the red deer last year, but I suppose that could go either way.

All I know is this game needs way more birds, there's a huge lack of birds in terms of animal type that are covered in-game. South America alone has so many beautiful birds, some of the birds I think should be added to the game are Macaw, Hoatzin, and Jabiru Stork.

I think the kiwi will be added in either an islands or temperate pack of some kind--Frontier loves its wacky unique animals. Beyond that, I think there's a semi-reasonable chance of a bird for the anniversary animal, be it a pure clone like the American flamingo or something more unique but reusing a basic rig like the grey crowned crane.

Humboldt penguins are fairly common in captivity (Africans are more common in the United States, though) but no, there are definitely a lot of birds with more captive presence that could work in the habitat system.

Since my bet is on a temperate pack I'm expecting to get the black swan. I think it'd be an addition that feels different entirely to everything we have currently, similarly to the red crowned crane.
