Today, I rely on home-made knitted socks that were a Christmas gift from my mother. Please note that I'm on a holiday this week and using the chance to get some writing done, so my present outfit is by no means a fashion statement.

I am wearing black socks with blue toes and a blue band around the top, They also have a blue "N" stitched into them because they are from Next (other clothing / sock sellers are available)

Oh yeah, I buy loads of the same ones at a time (M&S black sports socks) which makes life a lot easier as they're all that I ever wear unless hiking.
