What could I expect from the day 1?

I'd like to know, in comparison to this beta, what new features will be avalaible at day 1?

More specific question, space is almost empty, will be filled with factories, stations and generic point of interest?

On day 1 earth gets attacked and our defences are down.....but I guess we all know who is responsible.

There will be Stars and Stations, Interdictions and Injected events, Economies to (try to) manipulate and Enemies to defeat or avoid.

An Empire to balance the Federation and Alliance to counter them both.
An Alien race somewhere, Mining, Ships and Space cities and endless space to explore.

Planets to wonder at, conflicts to take sides in, luxury liners to tour the galaxy in.

Secret Pirate strongholds to stumble across.

And lots more

I think it's because he wants to be a pain in the backside until he gets a refund.

If that's the case I expect him to be a pain in the backside for a long time. The refund isn't happening.
