What do other Players see when then scan me?

Only 100 hrs into E.D. and my 3rd screen says I am CQC "Helpless" and that just NEEDS TO IMPROVE
If other players scan me, and see that, I'm TOASTED Space Dust

I scan ships and see :
Ship Type
"WANTED" or CLEAN
faction or alliance
then some sort of skill level? Like Expert for example

What similar data am I showing on their Scans?

They wil see your status (wanted, clean or lawless in anarchy systems) and your combat rank. Combat rank is the only rank that ever shows. Ship and ship name (if there is one) and of course your CMDR name. That's it - unless you are pledged to a squadron.

They also get to have look at your modules/weapons/utility slots. What is in them, but not the class, size, or engineering.

One way to fake out gankers is to grab a Corvette and load it up with class 1 MC/PA/Rails on every hardpoint, fill up your utility slots with d rated shield boosters and a couple chaff. After a scan they can see what you have, but not the class, engineering level, or size. You can make a decent cargo vette that gankers think is a fellow ganker and too tough to steamroll.

Of course you better run if they call your bluff.
