Well it's not meant to be a trick question. Simply voting on the poll means you think you are exploring. If all you do is explore, while exploring (redundant?), then "Nothing" would be a good answer.

I alternate between IM with peeps, forums, and Top Gear back catalogue, but ONLY when in drop-the-hammer long haul travel mode. When I explore, I actually explore.

I find myself listening to sci-fi audiobooks. Currently reading Proxima by Stephen Baxter.
Occasionally I'll dive into Lave Radio or Radio sidewinder though.

All in game music muted, computer voice turned off.

Been playing around 3 months and still enjoying the game soundtrack. The only sounds I have turned off is the countdown and the engage, those were a little too much too often.

One thing I like to do when passing the time heading to the 100,000+ Ls object is to look at the star patterns and think of what kind of constellation patterns there are. If humans would have evolved here, what would they see in the stars. Also, ship is going straight, nothing in the way, time for a trip to the little pilots room.

I already finished Original Star Trek and Star Trek 1 through 7. I'm working on watching Star Trek TNG. Once I run out of Star Trek things to watch I'll probably switch to Red Dwarf.

I set up a macro and go outside and work in the yard or go to a movie or go to the lake or go to the park...anything but sit and stare at the screen and fall asleep. I wish it were more compelling.
