What do you get when you cross E: D with Space Engineers, No Man's Sky, and Minecraft?

Looks really interesting, maybe a bit too ambitious, and would probably be more fun if they made it an mmo. But that is definitely a sandbox.
Looks will surely improve as it's only an alpha.
Will keep an eye on this, thanks op.

Not seamless planetfall however - see the "jump" at 1:18 in that vid...

Interesting, but I'll wait until it's on steam and had a few updates before I pony up hard cash.

BTW - I've moved this to the appropriate forum.

you realize the kickstarter for this folded in nov 14

Many projects are now continuing even if the Kickstarter fails.

This game look like it has potential but it look like it in the very early stages, even the graphical style look like is not decided on.

This just seems like a starmade ripoff. Starmade also has planets, exploration and voxel spaceship construction. Meanwhile starmade is getting actual graphics (used to be horrid placeholders) and the development is going steady.

Starmade is indeed looking promising.

I have Empyrion, backed it originally on KS, although they didn't make the target. Its o.k. nothing more than that. SE is better, if planets come along in SE, then there will be no reason to have Empyrion, just my opinion. Starmade, I will have to give that a go, I left it for so long not deciding, heard very good things about it though, will probably try it out.

Also Interstellar Rift, I have that, good game, not a great deal to do yet, but I'm hopeful.
