Seen it before, nothing new and always the same rambling by somebody who seems to read from a script and not actually interested in the game itself

Grammatically it's written -poorly. Content wise it's clear he's not the most brushed up about things in the Elite universe. He has one major point that many have mentioned since launch -- namely that the game is fun, but boring, but fun, but actually still boring -- and that's probably the only redeeming part about reading that review. Looks like something he typed up in an hour and just slapped it on the site.

The biggest issue I see with reviewing Elite: Dangerous is that it is simply not complete at this point. Lots of mechanics feel first pass. Lots and lots of bugs (please fix missiles so they don't fire backwards).

I mean, if you want to be honest, the RPS review does it with its final line: "The best unfinished game of last year."

Speaking as a fanboy myself, it's a fair enough review. I'm having fun nonetheless, as is... and assuming it will get even better as they add content.

And yeah, he needs to reread his articles at least once before posting. Sheesh!
