What do you think is the best/worst animal?

The worst are easily the basegame snakes. Most of them are as accurate to their real life counterparts as a camel with painted on stripes is to a zebra

Its hard to name a definte best one, but the armadillo, river hog, water monitor and the spectacled caiman are up there

My favorite? That's tough, man. I love many species, but lately I've loved to use red fox.
Honorable mentions:
  • Black-and-white ruffed lemur
  • Butterflies (all 5 species)
  • Spectacled caiman
  • Red-eyed tree frog
  • Southern cassowary

Least favorite? Hmm, I guess the one I've put the most hate on is the HBB, but even then I'm kinda getting ambivalent towards it

I think it’s about time I answered my own thread

I have only got Planet Zoo in december, so I haven’t built for a lot of animals. Some of my favorites are definitely the Capuchin and the Gharial. My least favorites are the West African Lion (needs a severe rework) and the warthog.

By quality in my opinion the best are Red River Hog, African Crested Porcupine and Nine-Banded Armadillo. The worst are Malayan Tapir, West African Lion and Himalayan Brown Bear.

Best - African Crested Porcupine or the American Alligator

Worst - Himalayan brown bear or any of the spiders (nothing wrong with them model wise, I just really hate spiders)

Best: A lot of candidates among the recent DLCs but the armadillo is near-perfect.
Worst: All the base game habitat snakes. For just habitat animals it's the HBB or Malayan tapir.
