Thank you all for your inputs, completely forgot about afterburner so I'll check it out tonight and try to convert the existing shadowplay recordings as I really don't want to lose them. Like I said premiere and vdub want nothing to do with them but maybe I'm missing a codec so I'll look into that to try and recover the vids because I clearly remeber that shadowplay vids were not a problem for vdub sometime back. Btw the shadowplay vids play fine in vlc and mpc, uploading the file directly to youtube also has no issues.

Dxtory for recording, Filmora for editing; both damn cheap and I think both are excellent for ease-of-use and results.
