Ive played games where a greeting of o7 was their way of saying get ready fer the fight of yer life. Its a bit weird here because its a common greeting, but its not a greeting I would use unless I was there to inflict pain.
Personally, I would write 'lo' as I dont identify as a gladiator, but Im old and set in me ways ^
