What else do you want from PZ except from more animals?

List what is still highly needed in the game for you except from obvious more animals.

1. Brachiation
2. Flying
3. Merging exibits
4. Exibit aquariums
5. More Frontier pre-made habitats - my biggest request.
6. More campaigns
7. More Frontier pre-made ready to use zoo’s and maps.
8. Burrowing
9. Rock climbing
10. Scrub and coastal biome

1. Brachiation
2. Flying
3. Merging exibits
4. Exibit aquariums
Absolutely agree with those.
I would also add

-better climbing (including a Fix for that annoying Bug that causes Objects not being able to be climbed even though it should be possible)

-Fixing the Bug that makes it impossible for Orangutans and Gorillas to use Ropes

-more Plants (including more Trees. I could immediately think of multiple Tree Species for tropical Asia alone)

-making more Trees climbable (Strangler Fig, Kapok, dead Fir Trees)

-more Objects like the Fake Tree Parts from the Aquatic Pack (also in smaller Sizes because they are also perfect to create Corrals)

-every Wall Shape for every Set (round Window, half Arch)

-non grid Pieces for every Wall Set

-more and for some Species better Variations (including bringing back the original White and leucistic Llamas and adding black and white Timber Wolves)

-a Fix for the Water to look better behind Barriers

-a Fix to be able to fill Water in without needing to make Barriers way too high first

-The Ability to place Water at Path Height or at least closer to it than currently possible

-a Plant Encyclopedia in the Game would also be great (but please with better Plant Research than currently because some Plants have completely wrong Tags)

-showing the special Animal Animations for the Animal Talk more often (I didn't even see them once)

-lower Depth Requirements for diving and removing the Need for 4m deep Water from the Giant Otter

-finally a Fix for the Polar Bear

-finally fixing Social Requirements for Animals that are wrong since the Beta/Beginning

1) Long support (even tho not necessarily a part of the game itself)
2) More advanced animal behavior and personality
3 Aviary and the necessary building pieces like mesh fencing ect.
4) Brachiation if possible
5) Some fish it doesn’t have to be regular animals that must be fed just maybe some that run on looped animations
6) If aquatic animals don’t happen in terms of rays, octopus, and small sharks at least a manatee as it would still provide some interesting options
7) I know these are game options besides animals but I got to cheat and say a African rhino and meerkat are absolutely a must for all zoo games
8) As mentioned above burrowing

5) Some fish it doesn’t have to be regular animals that must be fed just maybe some that run on looped animations
Would absolutely love this and use it all the Time but I think Frontier once said they won't add Animals as Effects, so we'll probably also never see Butterfly Houses in the Game

-More food and drinks shops, I get bored always using the same ones.
-Smaller terrariums (and larger too, why not)
-Aviaries
-Smaller animals which can fill small spaces between large habitats
-More animal signs/statues
-More habitat fences to save pieces
-Glass path and an underwater tunnel path that instead of a handrail has an automatic glass cover. I find it very difficult to create underwater tunnels.

1. Long Support
2. Unique animals - not only for appearance but also challenges when building a habitat. (like certain elevation for mountain animals)
3. Updated building tools - some features from PK but pathing could use some tweaking and I hear a lot of people struggling to make a perfect square exhibit.
4. Clear water without using a trick
5. Better personal challenges - don't feel rewarding now.
6. Aviaries
7. Better optimization
8. More filters/search bars (continent has been mentioned often)
9. Exhibit aquariums
10. CPU competing zoos in challenge mode

  • Animal personality that goes as deep as being a challenging management aspect.
  • Actually functioning genetics
  • A real guest mode
-Brachiation
  • Flying
  • Bug fixes
  • More interactions between the animals, especially juveniles, like apes on the back of their mother
  • More food and drink stalls
-More scenery pieces
-More education boards
- Better, more natural enrichment
-Backstage areas and vip tours

That's what comes to my mind first

-Animal personalities (biggest request) and depending on that different behaviors that fit their unique traits
-Having all the terrain paints from all biomes available, no matter, which biome my actual zoo is in, so I can build tropical houses in a tundra zoo and vice versa (second biggest request)
-Null path
-Regular path textures for staff paths
-Placeable fish as ambience
-Brachiation
-Better water, including placing water directly next to paths, no more murky water behind barriers, no more obstructions
-Better game performance
-Yeah, more food and drink stalls
-More animal statues and signs and speaking about it...
-...maybe customizable signs guests can actually watch, like they do with animal info panels and education boards
-When it comes to guests, I'd like to see special foods, drinks, and yes, even animals having more influence on them. Like... having a some ice cream in a tropical biome makes them feel cooler, or -in case we get the animal personalities- having guests notice the special behavior of that one, certain animal
-Stuff for backstage areas, yepyep

...and of course all the stuff that was already mentioned here, I'd like to have, too!

Actually functioning genetics
The genetics are functional, we just need to see the genetics for the other two genes. I've been meaning to make a post for awhile where I ground truthed this as well, just haven't got around to it.

No idea if colour variants are genetically controlled though, I haven't played with that at all.

For me, the thing I would like most to see is the ability to visit other people's zoos in franchise. Or at least have it so we can blueprint them like sandbox zoos.

Nulls paths would be pretty awesome too, or at least curbless raised paths. Hate having to have floors on buildings raised so high that they clip off everyone's ankles

Feel free to tag me if you do. Last decoding I saw didn't work out

I thought of a cage, like a mesh, that could house animals too big for vivariums but too small for habitats. Examples would be Roadrunners, Meerkats, Prairie Dogs, etc.

1. I'd like to see more building kits/themes, and maybe some extra "pieces" that give us a bit more flexibility in terms of shape and size of buildings, roofs and so on.
2. Also, more decorating items and bits and pieces that make it easier to build smaller props for our zoos. People get really creative with that outdoor switch, which is the smallest colorable "rectangles" in the game, but if there were an array of tiny shapes available, players could design even cooler props and pictures and so on.
3. More vegetation, including a wider variety of flowers that are red, blue, yellow, and orange (we have a lot of pink, white, and purple right now).
4. Some diverse starting terrain set ups that can be used for franchise zoos.
5. A greater variety of concessions and gift shops. Would be great to see Chinese food, Indian food, even some more sit down restaurant type options.
6. Barriers of some kind that prevent guests from walking right through fountains and other landscape items and decorations that extend into a path area.
7. Really small letters for designing smaller signs or adding text to smaller props would be cool too.
8. Working elevators that serve multi level structures? I honestly don't know if this would be easy to fit into the existing game engine, though.

I like darthquell's suggestion of in-between sized cages too. I've mentioned how it would be nice to have more variety of exhibit "vivarium" sizes and shapes, so an anaconda wouldn't be in the same sized vivarium as a tarantula, but many zoos have small mammals and other critters that can be in outdoor enclosures that need to be covered over to protect them.

I'd also like to see guests so actively seek out certain popular habitats and exhibits more assertively, rather than following a path of least resistance and congregating in the entry area of the zoo and "under visiting" cooler exhibits and enclosures further away in a larger zoo. I know real-life people can be lazy about walking too (and not everyone has an easy time walking long distances), but when I visit a zoo, I"m not going to skip seeing the cheetahs or another favorite animal because I have to walk a ways to see it, especially if there's a ride to make it easier to get there.

Everything said above for the most part. But I really want new challenges to create a fun gameplay loop and make my zoo feel alive and like I can interact with it more and the world around it will slightly affect it. (Anyone saying I'm too ambitious, look at ZT2's challenge mode challenges as an example)

The Dot from the 2D Boogaloo Text Set is smaller 😉
I'm currently using it to create a Statue. But I absolutely agree that more small Pieces would be useful. I fear that I might not be able to create the Head good enough.
I absolutely agree with all of your Ideas

Animal-Related:
  • Proper brachiation for primates.
  • Longer, less fuzzy hair/fur on Orangutans and Anteaters.
  • Shorter diving depth requirements for Otters and Caimans.
Construction Related/Other Stuff:
  • Ability to mix and match paths and railing.
  • Custom billboards/music.
  • More murals like the ones in the aquatic pack (although with custom billboards this wouldn't really be necessary).
  • More fonts such as Times New Roman.
  • More props that look like they belong in a zoo rather than props that look like they belong in a theme park.
  • Darker grass in the Taiga biome.
