But good! for my part mostly, Sci-fi and fantasy. + action / action comedy. Horrors? Not so much. Jut a few, and mostly books. In movies i think thrillers are better. About horror Books? King, Knootz from the newest but in general terms i like the soul shivering kind of horror better, like lovecraft than the guts & blood kind of crap.
Speaking about thriller, and horror. there is some element what's really necessary in every movie and book, games. Suspension and twist paired with love and hateable characters, whom more human (as flawed) than us! Also that's why anti heroes like punisher or ghost rider this popular. they are flawed really flawed, but non the less despite all of this methods, and struggles what they are doing is right or understandable. For this BSG and game of thrones is a prime example. After all, if the good guys alwasy win, there is no losses, no setbacks no tragedies? than you not going to really intrested in the story. Why you must? The hero goes against impossible odds and come out with no losses no drama, wins everything while the bad guys are utterly crushed.
Nah! In this way is just booorning! No surprise twist no unexcepted, no slowly or from one second to another surfacing secrets. nothing to worry about, nothing what can keep you interested, or reason to love or hate the unearthly perfect, or malicious character. And neither the life works like this.
