what happen to shield idead

a few month back i heard that that a new way to bring up shield up faster is to reboot your ship. what happen to that idea is it coming in the future or no

This idea is on-game now. When your shields are 'Broken', you can bring the up to half by coming to a basic halt, and completing the 'Reboot/Repair' sequence.

Yea, it's there, though I still consider running away to let your shields recharge to be much better idea than shutting down your ship in the middle of the battle for 20s. :D

depends on what kind of shield you are running.. bigger size prismatics are not worth the wait, and is easyer to reboot/repair.

Yeah, I suppose it's true. I don't actually know how long it takes to restore shields in a Cutter. I've never lost them.

I wouldn't advise using against commanders, but against NPCs? Well meh!...just do anything you like![blah]
