I was out only about 2.5k LY from Sol and came across a notable stellar phenomena, my first finding of something like this. I approached and found floating metallic crystals. I tried scanning them. I learned about the codex and looked at it and saw a blue marking that says "confirmed". After coming back to the bubble, I decided to head back out and revisit the crystals but now they are gone. What happened to them? Do they disappear after they've been visited? I believe I went back out to the same system.

They do that sometimes apparently. Try re-logging and see if they respawn.
