What happened to my Lave-Fujin star cluster rare trade route?!

I've been doing the very well known Lave to Fujin Rares trade route... but it seems that a lot of the stations that sell the rares, now sell piddly amounts. Most stations I visit, seeming to only stock about 1 Ton of rare commodities.

What the heck!? Part of the reason I upgraded to an ASP, was so I could get more cargo hold to run rare trades in. Now that I finally upgraded to an ASP.... there are no rares to fill up even my old Cobra. Is this simply going to be the "new normal"?

Should I be considering switching to conventional commodities? I didn't really do to well with conventional commodities... I read about people getting 2k - 3k/ton profits. Is that One way profit per ton? Or is that round trip? Because I damn well have no idea how to get anywhere near 2K oneway.

They're still there. I recently took around 60 tonnes to Lave and then nearly 80 back. Unfortunately I think you have to dock, buy what's there and then wait 5-10 minutes for it to tick over and then get some more.

The one thing that has disappeared is Wolf Fesh. The anarchists lost control of the station and so its no longer available, might be worth doing some missions if you're in the area and try to bring back some disorder to Wolf 1301 (I think!!).

*Edit* I did make the trek to Geras which can have 20+ tonnes available.

The stock is random and refreshes every 10 minutes, maybe you got unlucky.
Each rare commodity has a max available, when you are carrying this you will not be able to find more no matter how long you wait, Supply will be blank instead of a number so don't think you will fill a T9 up with Zaonce leathery eggs...

Im not aware of any server changes that should have influenced rare goods although I haven't done a rare route in a while now.

Yesterday I got back from a month to the core, so I thought, well, I'll just pop in a cobra and run some rares and scoot around enjoying being back in the middle of life. I had to do 3 loops of the lave cluster, after two loops Diso, Leesti and Lave went dry (I went back to two of them a fourth time because I couldn't believe it), took me an hour and a half to get 56 tons (and that was just me being stubborn). I had been out exploring for a while but I am still pretty quick when it comes to docking/disembarking in a Cobra so I wasn't going slow. It was just that if the station had rares, it only had 2-3 tons, the only saving grace was that Diso turned out 10 tons on one visit, otherwise I might still be there trying to fill up.

I understand not wanting people to fill anacondas on rares in half an hour, but spending 2 hours filling and transporting rares to make under 1M credits.....I don't particularly understand what the point of having them all clustered up is. If you don't want people to do rare hub-rare hub trades then spread them all over evenly and people can just pick them up as they see them if they are on their way somewhere. If rares trading is to be even a little viable, well, there just aren't enough for anything as big as a cobra.

I was not aware of this, but those numbers must be very very low!

It changes every now and then but these are the notes I have from my last runs:
Zaonce - Leathery Eggs - Max 1T
Lave - Lavian brandy - Max 7T, comes in 4-7T
Leesti - Evil Juice - Max 14T, comes in 1-9T
Leesti - Azure Milk - Max 7T, comes in 2-7T
Diso - Corn - Max 15T, comes in 1-10T
Orrere - Brew - Max 16T, comes in 6-10T
Uszaa - Tree grub - Max 14T, comes in 3-141T

74T max from above if you wait to stock up fully on all of them. To give an example if your first visit nets you 5T of Lavian brandy when the stock refreshes in 10 minutes it will give you the remaining 2T. If you wait again there will be no supply since you are carrying max.

Most people agree Asp is best for rare runs followed by Cobra but the people that run Asp's usually have a combat fitting too.

Thanks! Figures that the ones with higher totals spawned on the very low end each trip....just my luck I suppose.

It's only anectdotal evidence, I know, but two friends who recently bought the game and started rare trading also only got low volume rare spawns in the Lave and Fujin clusters. So maybe something did indeed change/got bugged recently?
