Newcomer / Intro What happened to my shields

Hi,

I decided to splash out with my accumulated bounty credits and bought various upgrades.

However, my shields seem to be offline. According to my usage I'm at 78% so not sure what I've done wrong.

Any help appreciated

Perhaps you go over 100% when your shields are online.

In the right hand menu, look at the priorities of your modules. Are shields set to priority 2 or 3?

When in the Outfitting window, did you take note of the Power Use row? if Retracted or Deployed power use were higher than Available power, you will have to upgrade your Power Plant to a higher Rating (being careful not to lower the Class or "size"). Is your shield generator shown as online in the Modules tab?

...or even, does the shield generator show in your modules at all? 78 is way too low. Maybe you accidentally sold it? "Buying various upgrades" sounds suspicious. ;)

78% way too low.....switch everything on ,,,should be in the 90s....
