Did you delete yourself? Fair enough that if a community isn't making you feel good after talking removing yourself is the sane option.

Fair play to him.

He'd definitely gotten down about the game in recent months, clearly wasn't happy. I've interacted with him loads of times before and always came across as sound, but more and more he was getting angry, and seeing attacks where there weren't any. It's a shame he went full nuclear on his account, but taking a break from the forums and even the game is a good idea (for anyone) if all it does is make you miserable. And doing it without a Dear John or an open letter to boot.

Fingers crossed he'll be back down the road when he's happier with the game, I know he's got a lot of love for Elite, just not the current state of it.
