Took a long break from ED. Back. Currently taking a trip to Hutton Orbital (never been there in the 5 years I've been playing). Locked it up once in Proxima Centauri and went to Nav to set SC assist on and - NOPE - the assist icon just to the right of the lock on icon not there. Searched around a bit. No joy.
What happened to it? If it still exists how does one now enter it. If not then that begs the question what good is an advanced docking computer now?

ASIDE: before anyone decides to say just get gud and you won't need it - I've made 1000's and 1000's of manual docks. A couple of years ago I got lazy and bought a docking computer. Got spoiled. Then got banged up pretty bad in a combat. Canopy open to space. Life support down to minutes. Had to manual and WHAM! To bad, so sad - out of practice - rebuy!
So now I requal myself by doing 10 manuals in a row every month or so. Which works. (like this morning before I took off for Hutton - 10 manual docks at home station prior to punching the witch space button)
But if you've got something genuinely funny/amusing/hah hah worthy post it. Otherwise...
