What happened to these guys?

Would love to see the Barbershop Quartet! We saw this art a while back!
We also need Jazz Bands, Mariachi groups,Bluegrass Bands, Country & Rock and Roll, etc..
It adds more atmosphere like the Pirate Band.

I forgot about all those arches cheaper! Aw I am sad now they never made it in game. See what you did by digging up the past [tongue]

This is amazing! I really hope they implement this in the future as it would be perfect for my Disney-esque park.

A bunch of different types of musical bands or groups would be great. The way the guests interact to the pirate band is amazing!

If we do get a quartet i hope we can place them individually in our own scenery and use a speaker to choose our own music!

Nice to see the concept art. I love how the guests interact in the concepts. That would be a great addition in the future. (Like hugging up to gulpee for a selfie)

Whatever you do Frontier, please do not ever implement that last video in-game [ugh]. As for the barbershop guys as I mentioned previously I guess they would come as 'mascots' and as a quartet. The way you describe them Lurker would be as individual animatronics which wouldn't really work as well.

As for the arches I simply took it as samples to finally decide on ONE design and we got the yellow arch that is an amalgamation of those.

Then we got coaster track arches that however are larger.

But yes I would like to see more! :)
I would like to see more compact arch to work for ticket booth entrance. <3

The coaster track arc we have today looks like a surviving relic from the concept phase when they tried to incorporate the coaster track more deeply into the artstyle. The reveal trailer also had a park entrance made from rails and even the clouds resembled loopings. That didn't work out apparently and in the end they just slapped the logo on every flat surface they saw fit.

I don't really miss the arches, fortunately we ended up with a neutral one that we can style and design ourselves, instead of a predefined set. What is sad about that concept though is the way Signs ended up compared to what they could have been...

Just imagine if we got individual place-able letters and numbers in different fonts and at least three different sizes in it's own section of place-able objects? We could have one font per theme, as well as special characters like: ?!'&$%#.> and of course all collorble like the art shapes... That might not be as fast as just being able to type something into a field, but I bet the end result would look better in many cases.... (And would be faster than trying to make our own letters with the Art shapes...

Heck we could even get multi lingual and have Jappanese and Chinise words and fonts for those who understand them, and those that don't understand the language system of other countries would have some interesting "Words" that we can write foreign looking gibberish with.(Not being racist, just honest... I'd imagine anything I throw together from a set of Japanese kanji would probably read like something a toddler randomly hammered out on a keyboard because lets face it, my understanding of Japanese spelling and grammar is probably at at or below toddler level... That is to say non-existent.)

Yes, I thought they would make the letters raised in 3d form when they were going to add text. But no it was flat.

So I would love 3d raised letter as well!!

Also I want to see a return of some of the more detailed signs as well. It could be added even if it is "same" as the one with text, but it being more detailed it will work for other uses.

I also remember the early signs with flashing and pulsating colors! fun!

Of course I am not for forcing people to use arches, but more ready-made compact arches would be lovely. It is hard to make small 1x1 arch that is unique and detailed. (because I suck and don't have unlimited time to kill and .... hahaa)

I love the ride entrances and I wish they would have made it in the game. I thought they got scraped because everyone wanted to make their own entrances instead of the predetermined ones.

This is probably correct. I'm positive there's already several highly improved versions on the Steam Workshop.

Ahh yea,. I remember these, some other concept art was great as well, I hope for an awesome expansion in the future that finally adds nice touches like interactive water and picnic benches and the like. So much they could do and at least we know we have a nice size community for them to keep supporting the game. can't wait! :)

They are animatronics tho, not an entertainer. At least, as far as we know currently.
Animatronics or entertainer, I’m personally very happy to see this addition to the game. I remember being very excited about the concept art back in the days of the Coaster Head Club. :D

I look forward to hear them singing... makes me wonder who will have voiced them :)
(I’m assuming that they will be able to sing)
