When sitting in a friend's ship it came under attack from the nearby ground base defences when an on-foot infiltration mission went wrong.

Getting out of the ship is the obvious option - but what happens if you remain seated, and the owner dismisses the ship?

Do you go into orbit with it? Do you get ejected and forcibly disembarked onto the surface? Or something else?

Sounds like an experiment is required.

If you remain seated you will probably be fine, if you are trying to get out at the time you will either be horrendously injured by the launch or end up outside the ship whether it has gone too after being dismissed.

You should definitely do experiments, who knows maybe dismissed ships park at Raxxla.

You go into the pocket dimension where dismissed ships stay when not needed. It's lonely in there, but there's tea.
