What happens to Cargo in a ship that you store?

Anyone know what happens if i store my Cobra with 30 Tons of Platinum in the hold & switch to my Sidewinder?

I'm at work & can't try it to see.

I guess if it stays with the stored ship then buying numerous ships could be like having storage/lockups which could be very useful:)

Cargo hold must be empty to store your ship :)

I'll gladly store the platinum for you. My commission is a very reasonable 90% of the value of the platinum plus a 10% late fee if you don't pick it up EXACTLY when I say you should.
