What happens to your Discover tags if you reset your account?

I think if you ask FD to change your username, the tags you found under the old username migrate over to your new name. But if you do a delete-save-start-again, then no; the tags found by the old CMDR name remain.

Pretty sure if you change your cmdr name, the first discovered tags stay as your old one. Support confirmed as part of the discussion when i got it done, and it does seem to be that way.

Yes, that's the reason we can't do a delete and start over using an existing username, no players can pinch another players tags by taking up an abandoned player name and claiming to be that player.
