What has happened to surface prospecting?

I'm on a planet with geological feature. But not at one.

I've been driving in my SRV for ages a not come across on object to get materials from.

Is this normal?

I searched up your post because I am having the same issue. Also on a planet with a geological feature. I dropped from SC at the geological feature. I wonder if that stops other surface objects spawning. Please make a bug report
