With the possibility of a Rebirth DLC coming to Evolution 3, I’ve been thinking about how the Rebirth versions of the T. rex, Mosasaurus, and Spinosaurus might be added to the game.
These dinos are noticeably different from their Evolution 2 counterparts.
not just in appearance, but also in size, presence, and even their roars.
wouldn’t it make more sense if they were released as variants instead of just new skins?
That way, they’d really stand out and feel much more faithful to their Rebirth versions.
Variants could better showcase their unique traits and give players a far more immersive experience.
If they were added as skin types only, though, I feel like the game wouldn’t really be able to reflect the major differences or distinctive features seen in Rebirth—which would be kind of a bummer.
Skin types also tend to reuse the same animations and rigs(models), so these dinos might end up lacking the intensity and weight they had in the film.
And if it’s just a visual change, some Rebirth fans might walk away feeling underwhelmed, since so much of what made those versions special goes beyond how they look.
What do you all think?
