No server disconnections ! Not a single one. I was expecting mayhem shortly after release but I play for a couple of hours and it was as smooth as butter. Good stuff.

Oh yeah and the planet surfaces look rather nice too :D

Brilliant update, what Elite needed. Looking fwd to landing on Earth and other atmospherics planets one day though.
Hopefully we can find a bit more depth in gameplay in the future too. I can't really find incentive to take missions on the BB for paltry payouts with 320million in the bank. It's not worth my time.
Give me something to go for.

I'm just still please Elite got a modern reboot.

Well done on Horizons guys and keep going at it. (And fix the damn 180' spinning SRVs when you can too) :)

Yeah- played til the early hours last night and was solid.

Still got the SRV stuck in reverse some times but they know about this one...

I was prepared to have lots of download and connection problems, but I got none. Moving beta files to Horizons folder probably helped a lot, since the download was complete while I read a story to my kids.

Well done FD and huge thanks to you for your effort!

Same here, update and play was flawless.
I started the update at 18:05 yesterday, and when I returned to the computer at 18:20 it had completed. Must have been one of the lucky ones.
Top job FD.

Yeah, Frontier really has done well on the server side. And overall, the planet landing stuff feels technically very smooth.

I started downloading the game at 5pm central time yesterday and it was done by 5:20 pm. Then I tried to launch the game and it would not launch. The play button would get darker and then go back to normal. I decided to verify the files and see if that fixes it and it made it to the "Sync Files" part of the process and stayed there for 3 hours. After it completed I could launch the game for 10 minutes then I had to go to bed so I can get up this morning and not be tired at work. So hopefully I will get to see what Horizons is all about tonight.

I did. I had a couple of unrecoverable transaction errors upon boarding the ship with the SRV. Cost me some gold containers too that I couldn't retrieve because POIs like that aren't persistent and disappear when you have to reconnect.
