What insects or invertebrates do you want to have in the game?

I would like to have the grasshopper, why the grasshopper because it is found at the Basel zoo and it is one of my favorite insects.

Saying that you want a grasshopper is a next to useless statement. It is roughly equivalent to saying you want a spider or a rodent in the game. There are seven superfamilies encompassed by the common name "grasshopper" that include over 8000 species. In order for an animal to be included in the game at minimum a genus and species must be designated. The model, behavior, habitat requirements, etc. are all dictated by the specific species.
Due to size very few grasshopper species would be candidates for inclusion in the game. Fewer species have ever been cultivated in captivity. Personally I feel that brightly colored species are the best candidates for the exhibits. Many grasshoppers are considered agricultural pests with importation bans that limit trade and exhibition. That helps us narrow the list of candidates.
Personally grasshoppers are not high on my list of desired exhibit animals. I would rank the Giant Weta, or any Weta species, as much higher on my wishlist. Superficially they appear similar to crickets, although they are not closely related. Or even a Giant Katydid (Cnemidophyllum citrifolium); again a superficially similar species.

Horsehead grasshopper (Psuedoproscopia scabra) - large grasshopper that appears very similar to a stick insect
Variegated grasshopper (Zonocerus variegatus)

What species is displayed at Basel?

I think a pack of like 4 different grasshoppers would be really cool. 10 pounds a pack seems like something frontier would be down for.

I would purchase just about any DLC (including the proposed leopard subspecies only pack), and even I wouldn't buy a grasshopper only pack. I think any exhibit only pack needs to have more than 4 animals, and hopefully more diverse than just insects. Even with the confines of the current exhibit system there are still so many groups to choose from: crustaceans, molluscs, myriaopoda (e.g. millipedes), amphibians (e.g. frogs, salamanders), arachnids, turtles, snakes, and lizards.

It's not a useless statement, it's like just like saying "I'd like a fox species in game." Some people don't care exactly which species Frontier uses, they just want to see a certain group represented. People who like foxes generally appreciate all foxes, likewise for grasshoppers, etc....

Edit: Oops should've looked at the Title of the Thread again. But I won't change my List now

A Animal that is similar looking to a Grasshopper and really beautiful in my Opinion is Tettigonia viridissima. It's really big (at least for a European Insect) but I don't really know if it is big enough for the Exhibits in the Game.

I would absolutely love it to see the Honduran White Bat (if they are somewhere kept in Captivity, which sadly seems unlikely). This Bat would fit perfectly even in the only Exhibit Size we're currently having in the Game. If it isn't kept in Captivity, I would be happy with another kind of Bat. But a looped Flying Animation if we get Bats as Exhibit-Animals is needed.

Even though Spiders aren't one of my favorite Animals, some kind of Peacock Spider would be really awesome.

We do also really need more Lizards and Amphibians. Chameleons would be great.

Please Frontier, give us a Cobra in the Cobra Engine😂

I don't know if the Exhibit Size would be suitable for the Animal in Real Life but I would love a Electric Eel in the Game.

Hierodula membranacea would be a great Species of Praying Mantis due to the big Size.

Some kind of Hummingbird would be awesome (with a Animation where they fly between multiple Flowers and drink from them. I think this Bird would be awesome as a Exhibit Animal)

I think I could come up with way more great Exhibit Animals but I'll stop now or else this Post will be 10 Pages long

I'd really like to see the African giant millipede, Asian giant mantid, and some of the giant stick insect species (the goliath stick insect would be a great Australian addition, but also the spiny stick insect).

Presumably you mean as Exhibit Animals? ...it seems quite unlikely we'd be getting such tiny critters any other way... actually, there's quite a few I'd like to see, including:

Atlas Beetle (Chalcosoma atlas)
Central American Giant Cave Cockroach (Blaberus giganteus)
Coconut Crab (Birgus latro)
Columbian Giant Tarantula (Megaphobema robustum)
Darwin's Goliath Centipede (Scolopendra galapagoensis)
Giant African Millipede (Archispirostreptus gigas)
Giant Asian Shield Mantis (Rhombodera basalis)
Golden Blue Leg Baboon (Harpactira pulchripes)
Goliath Stick Insect (Eurycnema goliath)
Grant's Camel Spider (Galeodes granti)
Hercules Beetle (Dynastes hercules)
Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle (Allomyrina dichotoma)
Madagascar Hissing Cockroach (Gromphadorhina portentosa)
Pacific Banana Slug (Ariolimax columbianus)
Wētāpunga (Deinacrida heteracantha)

More T's/spiders would be nice. There are some really good looking ones out there (or in your house)

But I really want to see an update with exhibits for that. Without going into detail: Spider webbing up their exhibit.

I would love to see the Sydney Funnel-Web Spider, Goliath Stick Insect, Darwin's Beetle, Lord Howe Island Stick Insect and the Spiny Leaf Insect

I'd like an ant farm exhibit. Preference would be a species of leaf cutter. Obviously would need a different design from the current exhibit boxes so I'm not holding my breath but that and bats would be good for more indoor type displays.

Small rodents too, like mice and rats. If ants will be accepted, termites will be nice too if possible.
