What is DK2 and CV1?

DK2 is the (now ancient) prototype version of the Rift.
CV1 is the Consumer Version 1 - the first version to be released.

Thanks for the info. Maybe you can help me with another issue as the other post I created regarding it has yet to be approved by moderator. Not sure why this one did not need approval but oh well. I have been having an issue with the VR orientation/view when I load in. It's often too low or offset left or right from center of my hotas and general sitting position. Is there an easy fix for this? a function like I've found in xplane? There's got a be something I'm missing.

Hi, using the Oculus touch controller click the menu button this brings up a screen that allows you to reset your view.
There's a reset HMD orientation in keyboard controls in Elite. I've changed mine to ` (left of number 1) and bound it as "reset" in voiceattack. Works great.
