What is ED comming to? Supposedly reported for griefing…. A Pirate!

Here is the background, last night I was in LTT 9810, and was interdicted by CMDR xxxx (Expert) in a Python, 800 CR bounty on his head, I was in a FAS (no cargo hold) Just HRP’s.
I submit to the interdiction and wanting to see what happens. He Ask to drop 20T’s of cargo, I reply that I do not have a cargo hold and scan me if you do not believe it, I get the response I do not have a scanner so just drop 20T’s and be on your way.
I stated again I have no cargo and, he tells me this is the last warning.

I start to move off and he opens fire, so I turn and target his Power plant and take it to 0…. Then he starts with the "Stop I do not have the rebuy cost" etc…. at this point he states he is reporting me for griefing, I am like    ? And told him to think about his choices and fired the last volley from the PA’s and watched the explosion….

So I guess I am now a “Griefer”

My only thoughts are you cannot fix stupid.

I'd have probably just shot out his canopy and disabled his fsd and left him there, that way he might have survived if he was quick thinking enough. But then again, you did nothing wrong.

That just sound so made up, unfortunately........I am inclined by believe it from what I've seen on some places...

Yeah, hopefully the crime and punishment system update in 2.1 will automatically filter out people like this, I'm also hoping it fixes the whole "abandon cargo" issue, making pirates actually having to use black markets and such.

I had some joker in an Anaconda try it on with me, with the same result. He had traded his way to an Anaconda, took it to a Comp Nav beacon and decided he was untouchable. Ignoring the fact he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. 60seconds into the fight he must have caught a glimps at the insurance cost and realised it was more than he had. He messaged me saying he didn't have rebuy, I didn't answer, about 8% hull he tried threatening to report me for "griefing" and then I assume he tried to log off because the ship just sat there and eventually exploded.

I imagine there is a thread complaining about it here some where...
