What is, I'm sure to be, an unpopular opinion.

You don't want 1993 Jurassic Park buildings.

There were only 2 guest facilities in the entirety of the movie- the visitor center, and the bathroom.

Now, I'm sure you do indeed want multiple guest buildings, with designs extrapolated from the designs of those structures; which is to say, the buildings from JPOG.

These buildings, however, are lacking in variety as well as the intellectual property of another company.

Personally, I would prefer the varied designs of the multiple JWE buildings over a singular kiosk with a burger balloon or dinosaur balloon floating on top of it.

Additionally, JW's safari truck makes a whole lot more sense than the four-seat vehicles shown in the first movie, and if we were to have multiple vehicle-based attractions, I would go for the former over the latter.

The opinion?

It appears to be above, however I had checked previously and for some reason the post was devoid of text.

I assumed it had something to do with the fact that I'm a new user and my posts seem to be pre-screened before appearing.

Ok so lets tear this apart.

The original Jurassic Park was a theme park and if you think they only had 2 guest facilities than you are sadly mistaken. Obviously it would have other facilities. Of course these weren't shown so I am sure Frontier could take some artistic liberties and design some based on the overall theme of JP. JPOG is a 15 year old game and was hampered by underpowered consoles at the time. Todays consoles are much more powerful so I am sure Frontier could make some decent looking extras for a JP themed park on Nublar. They also have access to Lore we don't. Even the novel explains what the park would have looked like when it was finally completed and open to the public and from what we have heard FD has taken inspiration from the novels as well. As far as the buildings being the intellectual property of others, if you think we want exact JPOG replicas than you are wrong. But everything in this game is the intellectual property of others. I don't see why they couldn't look at the JPOG buildings for inspiration when designing the buildings for a JP themed park. Blue Tongue went out of business along time ago, I believe it was 2011. I don't know if that has an impact on intellectual rights or not, but we aren't looking for a JPOG rip off. We are looking for something better. Blue Tongue didn't do the best anyway.

As far as wanting JW themed stuff goes we already have it. We will be building JW world across 5 islands. We unlock each island by getting 3 stars for our park. To unlock Nublar we need to get a 5 star rating for each park. Now to me it doesn't make much sense to have players work that hard just to unlock Nublar and do the same things we had just done on 5 islands. Frontier is very secretive about Nublar and if we were just going to build JW all over again then what's the big secret? The big secret is that we will get to build and or manage a game version of the original 1993 JP, of course this is just a theory for now. But it is backed up by a lot of evidence. Like the fact that the devs have said that there will be a homage to JP and that Universal made it clear that the game had to be about the whole franchise and not just JW. Then there is all the secrecy that I mentioned before, it makes no sense to keep Nublar secret if there wasn't a huge surprise waiting for us once we unlock it. Since we are already building JW then what else could that surprise be other than JP.

Matanceros takes place right after the incident on JW. Also Claire will be in the game and she is apparently supporting the rebuilding of JW which contradicts what is going on in the new movie. So we won't be unlocking Nublar just to see it get blown up by some volcano. That theory made the least bit of sense when people were throwing it around. So it obviously won't be that.

It finally appeared for me. I haven't been able to see it since it first was posted.
