Newcomer / Intro What is in a ring?

Hi.
I am looking at some bgs mining missions ... just because they are there.
However, when they say x units of bromellite, or lithium hydroxide, or whatever .... i cannot then work out where they might be found (icy rings, metallic etc.)

Is there a place that I should be looking? Finding a local icy ring etc. is easy ... if I know that it is icy that I want!

Shoot rings with a detailed surface scanner. That will tell you if there is a Hotspot for something in those rings. Otherwise pretty much anything requiring minimal thought is explained on youtube usually in great detail

Thanks everybody for the replies ... Tyres nailed it ... I was after a single list

I have not used fandom for a long time ... hate the layout and especially the pop-up videos ... almost forgotten that it still existed!
