What is it with the endless interdictions

Haha. Interdictions are just one element of this game I really am not keen on. And that's without the bounties, once your a galactic criminal of those proportions, may as well not play for Week. [yesnod]
Flomley.

i mean i have a 100 galatic bounty and i get nonstop interdictions, this is stupid fix this crap ed:mad:

Buy a Sidey. Shoot a cop. Die.

the general sentiment here is - If you are wanted, they will want you dead (However ridiculous it may be over 100Cr. Then again, if you have 100Cr bountly, you have it only for 8 minutes ;) )

Interdictions are much more frequent in 2.1. I got interdicted in my AspX with an empty hold and no bounty on my head by an Imperial Cutter that I couldn't escape (frameshift was stuck at 1/3). Boom goes my Asp! I'm back to a Sidey.

I have not found interdictions to be common except in two situations:

1). I'm in an anarchy system (read: asking for it)
2).I took mission with "Hostile ships may be sent against you." (read: YOU WILL BE INTERDICTED).

I'm told that a third such condition is:

3). You have a bounty

But I haven't had one to know.

I do think bounty hunters coming after you for a 100cr bounty is idiotic (the bounty hunter is losing money there), but for a significant bounty (2000+, say) I'm in favor of the mechanic.

#4 would be: have anything in your cargo hold.

I am almost never wanted, not in PP, and when I don't have an active mission, I still get interdicted a lot (at least once per system I visit). I imagine it's due to the ~40 items in my cargo hold I'm keeping for engineer upgrades.

Going to a Nav beacon or res is basically suicide because if more than one NPC scans me, I'm in trouble.

If I have that experience, I'd hate to think about someone that's in PP, is wanted, and has stuff in their hold.

IMO, interdictions are too frequent.
