What is Limpet, and where to sell it?

As title. What is this, and where do I sell it. I keep finding it from ships I blow up, but cannot sell at Black Market, or comodities.

Trash them. They're ammo, not a commodity. They come from the limpet mines used to break open cargo hatches.

It is. I remember seeing a Dev post somewhere that it's something that is slated to be fixed, but I don't have any idea when it will make it into an update.
