What is NAVI

In my upper left screen (HUD) I sometimes see a NAVI warnings. What does that mean exactly?

Its a "look out the window there's a big ass rock dead ahead " warning

Navigational warning - basically it's saying if you keep going straight (for 5-10 seconds I think) you're gonna hit something, usually an asteroid!

 

[Greebie]

It means you're getting too close to something and are likely to hit it. Get much closer and a PROX warning gets added.

It means "change your trajectory NOW"

Note: It does not mean you are about to collide with an annoying Faerie thing!
