what is - pp? cg? founders world access? etc

Has anyone done an abbreviations list for this game?

I read forum posts and half the time I have no idea what people are refering to because the use abbreviations i've never seen before!!

Any help please :D

PS -- if the coming new content being tested on beta has some form of "you must play daily or loose it" then I wasn't aware this game was turning into an aion type mmorpg :(

Watch the players numbers DROP! fast if that's the case.
Big mistake imo to "force" players into playing in order to keep stuff they grinded for already - games are supposed to be "FUN" not mandatory work!

....Think about this for a second: What is the point of fun if you don't have to work for it?

PP is powerplay. CG is community goal. Founder's World access is not an abbreviation.

Ha ha, yes there can be a lot of them, migh be worth created a list in this thread if we can, I can edit my post. founders world access is a permit that gives you access to a system which sells ships and outfitting at a discount. The only way you can get it is to have either been a kickstarter backer, or reach elite ranking.

PP = power play, not out yet except for the beta testers
CG = community goals, there's a sticky in the forum about these
RES= resource extraction sites, the places in planetary rings were NPC's go to mine and pirate, good for bounty hunting
NPC's= Non player characters, basically ships which are not flown by other players
SCB = shield cell bank - an item from outfitting that recharges your shield
KWS = kill warrant scanner - a scanner to check bounties on ships outside of the durisdiction
USS = unidentified signal source - places to jump out of spuercruise to find random stuff
WSS = weak signal source, same as above but usually less stuff
SSS = strong signal source, same as above but usually a lot of stuff and quite dangerous

anyone got any more?

Errm, this seems a bit spurious! Where did you get this idea from? There's nothing in game or in the beta remotely like this as far as I'm aware.

In the Beta Rep now goes back to neutral over time. I'm not sure the details or how fast it happens but basically it looks like if you are Allied with a faction but you either don't log in or do nothing for them for a while it will drop back down.

"- Extremely high and extremely low faction reputations now slowly decay towards less extreme values"

Cheers for the clarification. I'd not seen this on the changelog or noticed it in the beta (but then again, I wasn't exactly looking). Not impressed

I'm not sure what they mean by extreme, although one beta tester did mention he dropped from allied to friendly very quickly. I understand everything in the beta is done at a faster 'ticker' for testing purposes, so how it will translate into the full game I am not sure yet.

Nope, will only go from Allied to frendly and Hostile to unfreindly. Not all the way to neutral.
