What is that for a weapon?

hi folks,
what kind of weapon is that, that can blast off my shields on my asp in just one shot and bring my hull to breach with the second? It was a human player with an Fer-De-Lance, my asp is really pumped up with the strongest power plant, shield generator and 2 shield boosters. Never experienced something like that before. I had not the slightest chance...

How many pips to shields? I fly the FDL with huge plasma and it would probably do that if you had no pips to shields, but not so sure it would do that in two shots to an A class asp (A6 shields) with boosters and 4 pips. Have taken the shields of scouts straight down with it though.

I dont think either of these would one shot some A6 shields and 2 shield boosters, even with 0 pips, cant see the OP's situation though.

My guess is either a Plasma Accelerator or a C4 Cannon.
Neither of which should "one shot" a kitted Asp.

2 Rails 1shot a standard Asps shields, so 4 would take a boosted Asps out, even a booster Pythons losing half his shields to 4 rails, and you can build a 4rail FDL with boosters, twin chaff and 2 4B SCBs with clever power management.

Rails are awesome weapons, that's why I got 2 of them on my Python
