I have a Cobra and I fitted it out with Mirrored surface and a Shield bank. My plan being that if missiles are fired at me then my chaff dispensers would take care of it. My Shield bank would recharge my shields.
Now, i have noticed that in Solo mode, if you investigate strong signal sources, it seems to lead to an attack by a wing of 5 NPC's at least. They tore through my shields with lasers.
What is a good shield configuration?
Should I ingore banks as they need a button press to activate and go for a Shield Booster?
