Hardware & Technical What is the best video capturing software?

my friend suggested fraps but a 15 second video is like 1948363047 trillion gigabytes. any suggestions?

Also fraps doesnt record my microphone.

If you have a fairly recent Nvidia card Id recommend ShadowPlay, records pretty decently to the same drive as my Elite install and doesn't noticeably slow down my gameplay.
Plus its free

Same here, it's the best I used and I've tried a few, but I 'm having awful time uploading any videos to You-Tube. They must not like me, as I do have very descent cable connection. Very fast, yet I'm still unsuccessfully uploading videos made months earlier.

I'm trying to upload two videos for over a month now.

I'm at the end of my tether about this, as I had to remove nearly every other game to house all these videos on both hard-drives and a external hard-drive.

There must be easier way of doing this??????

OBS. It's not the easiest program to set up but it's a mile ahead of the rest once you have it all up and running.

Funnu, I use FRAPS and it does record my microphone - I've set it to 'Record Win7 sound', and when I want my blabberings on the video, additionally 'Record external input' (shows my sound card/microphone there).

Yeah, the filesize is quite big - about 4 gigabytes per minute for 1920x1080 @ 60 FPS. I compress the videos with VirtualDub for uploading, heck, event the M$ Movie Maker will do the job.
